Ensley Benitez Law, PC represents businesses and individuals all throughout Texas, in State and federal courts, and at mediation and arbitration, in a broad range of litigation matters, in which we emphasize protecting construction and remediation contractors in complex litigation, often working toward getting our clients paid for the work they performed, while at the same time, defending them from allegations of construction defect, breach of contract, and all the other claims which are commonly brought in such matters. • Obtained Final Judgment in favor of a Texas contractor in a FLSA suit, zeroing out the claim, and obtaining one of the largest reductions of attorney’s fees awarded in the Northern District of Texas
• Negotiated an extremely aggressive settlement against a major national insurance company related to the personal home of a construction contractor client
• Obtaining Final Judgment in favor of a roof salesman who had been wrongfully denied commission payments
• Obtaining Final Judgment in a successful defense of an accounting firm and its principal in a “bet the business” case
• Obtaining Final Judgments and Final Arbitration Awards ensuring payment to a large number of businesses of varying types
• Successfully representing landowners / landlords in municipal hearings on matters including condemnation, fines, breaches of the lease, eviction and collection of past-due amounts;
• Negotiated a great pre-trial outcome for a client who was victimized by cyber fraud
