Brian served as a long-time Co-Vice Chair for the Mock Trial and Bench/Bar Committees of the Dallas Bar Association. Beyond the bar, Brian is active in his community, having graduated from the Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Rockwall program, where he took an active role in completing a backyard safe space, at the Soroptomist House in Rockwall, which is managed jointly with the charity Women In Need, where women at risk from violence, and their children, can obtain counseling and other assistance.
Brian is also active with construction trade organizations, including the Roofing Contractors Association of Texas; the North Texas Roofing Contractors Association; Utility Contractors Association of Texas; and the Earthmoving Contractors Association of Texas.
When not engaged in these pursuits, Brian enjoys spending time with his wife of 30 years, trying to keep up with three rescue dogs, indulging his curiosity with all things mechanical and electronic, or hiking, hunting, camping, fishing, or anything else ending in “-ing” which occurs outside.
Brian is admitted to practice before Texas courts; the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit; and the United States District Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas, for Colorado, and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas.
